Here at DBE we've been sailing into the new spring wedding season with plenty of nautical inspiration around every corner! With the ocean breeze blanketing the St. Augustine air it only makes sense to show you our newest sail boat table number! It's time for DBE's first contest! We are asking you to come up with our next window theme!! We've drawn inspiration from Alice in Wonderful, a French Picnic and a Vintage Jet Setter... Now it's your turn to inspire us! For one week in March, the winning theme will be created and on display. Happy Vday from DBE!

Hey Guys! Valentine's Day is just around the corner, can you even believe it!!!??? It seems like two seconds ago I opened the door for the very first time here at DBE - and now, we are at our 6 month mark! HOLY COW!

I am so excited to show you some of my favorite Valentine gifts - for your beloved or yourself (I won't tell!) We just got the most darling "Love" barrettes, new purple sequin heart pins and other wonderful Valentine accessories! Please stop in, call, or check out the online shop!!!

For me, I have a lot to celebrate this Valentine's Day! Not only, do I have a wonderful Fiance, but the design studio is busier than a one armed paper hanger! I'm so so so thankful for everyone that has supported little DBE and is making it a success....
This Valentine's Day, I'm hoping to have a cozy day at home, working on my own Wedding Plans. The save the dates are almost finished, and I can't wait to share those with you also!

Baby on Board

Our wonderful Shannon is due any day with a little bundle of joy - the soon to be baby Regina!!! Here at DBE we are SOOOO excited for Shannon and her husband David, and couldn't be happier for them. Even though Shannon is only days away from her due date, she has been working like a little bee here at the shop! In honor of the cutest little baby to be EVER - I wanted to showcase a few of our favorite baby gifts! B.Childrenswear makes the most darling onesies you would ever see. With hand-stitched ruffles, flowers, animals... and even painted mustaches - they are perfect for any newborn! I'm thinking baby Regina is in definite need of the yellow onesie with the ruffles!!!! DBE is getting hitched!!!

Hey guys! I know it's been forever... but that's only because things have been crazy busy around here. Not only with the store, but with the holidays and most excitedly, I got engaged!!!!! What a wonderful surprise when my boyfriend, Steve, popped the question the night before my birthday! I'm just so excited and am anxious to share all of my own wedding details and inspirations on the blog! - YAY!

Steve and I have been dating for almost four years and met at good old Kent State University in Ohio. While I was studying fashion and Steve was studying Exercise Physiology, we met, BY CHANCE, in a macroeconomics class. Of course I thought he was adorable, but didn't say anything. Then, on a random night, we finally spoke and have talked everyday since! We had our first date at the most wonderful restaurant in Akron, Ohio - LUIGIS! BEST. LASAGNA. EVER. And, ironically enough, my parents had their first date at a restaurant named Luigis too! Anyway - I feel like the luckiest girl in the world and am so happy to share my news and story with everyone!

We are planning to tie the knot this November in Ponte Vedra! Hip Hip Horray for weddings and such fun things.... now, I just have to decide on an invitation. I better start now, it might take a while!!

Tis the season to sparkle! We now have the most amazing jewelry and handbags for the holidays! These Rachel Leigh earrings and bracelets, and Deux Lux Bags - sure do make a statement. Are they so cute, or what???
